Work continues rapidly on the "Şanlıurfa-Suruç Taşbasan Right Bank Network Construction" project, tendered by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works and carried out under the commitment of İlci İnşaat A.Ş., one of our holding companies.
DSİ Şanlıurfa 15th Regional Director Mr. Oğuz Kasap, Deputy Regional Director Mr. Mesut Modalı, 151st Branch Director Mr. Erol Taş, and technical staff from the 15th Regional Directorate conducted an inspection visit to the construction site. Our company's General Coordinator Arda Berk and our technical staff accompanied them during this visit.
Within the scope of the project, a total of 407,561 meters of pipes in various diameters (327,675 HDPE pipes and 79,886 GRP pipes) and 2,067 engineering structures (bridges, siphons, lower culverts, upper culverts, water intake structures) will be manufactured.
The project started with site handover on 04.11.2011 and has reached 85% completion to date. It will be completed on 01.08.2016 according to the contract and put into public service. When the facility becomes operational, it will bring water to 16,720 hectares of fertile agricultural land in Suruç Plain.
